The Service Receptionist / BDC Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.50 and $17.50. |
Position Purpose
The Service Receptionist/BDC is responsible for answering all incoming telephone calls into the service and parts department in a professional and timely manner and providing either information requested, schedule appointments or directs callers to proper party.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, directs caller to appropriate department or individual, schedule service appointments or takes a thorough message.

- Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.

- Enters data into computer system and runs necessary reports for management.
|
- Safeguard customer and Dealer information per established policy.
|
- Adhere to established dress code policy at all times.
|
- Ensure appearance of the parts and service department and work area is always in pristine condition.
|
- Adhere to work schedule and arrive at work before your scheduled start time and be at your work station productively engaged by the scheduled time.

- Exemplifies organizational culture and holds others in department accountable for doing the same.

- Schedule service appointments received by incoming phone call, voice mail, email, and live chat.
- Call and schedule appointments for aftermarket products.
- Backup loaner car desk and customer service representatives as needed.
- Maintain service and parts filing and scanning.
- Other related duties as may be assigned.
